One hundred days of Expo Milano 2015 have passed. The first half was marked by an enthusiastic and large audience in the range of 8000 visitors per day. The participants and African visitors felt proud of the representativeness of the continent given by the pavilion of Angola.
One hundred thousand visitors (104 925) were recorded in the first ten days of August, 1-11, bringing the total number of visitors to 816,000.
Thus, the daily average of Angola Pavilion visitors rises to 10,000, keeping the goal of reaching 1.6 million visitors by the end of EXPO Milano 2015 on October 31.
Among the most striking events of the pavilion in the first quarter of the world exhibition, there were the Africa Day celebrations on May 25; the International Children’s Day on June 1; The Day of the African Woman on July 31, as well as the release of the biographical work of António Agostinho Neto, on 17 June.
