The Angolan Pavilion has recently received more important visitors. The interest in the pavilion is related to its popularity and the great coverage in the Italian and international media.
A delegation of the European Parliament came from Luxembourg, informed about the high quality of the museography. Angola is one of the countries most in line with the theme of Expo Milano 2015 “Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life”.
The Angolan Commissioner-General, Albina Assis Africano, guided the parliamentarians of the old continent’s parliamentarians through the exhibition and presented her country as “The New Angola, a country open to people, tourists, investors, with an important agricultural history. Therefore, we have to participate enthusiastically in this Expo, because we are implementing agriculture to acquire a sustainable development”, said Assis Africano, who is also president of the Food Bank Angola.
Other distinguished visitors came from the Republic of San Marino, an autonomous enclave in the east end of the Italian peninsula. The Minister of Planning and Environment, Dr. Antonella Mularoni, and the Minister of Finance, Dr. Giancarlo Capicchioni, accompanied by the Commissioner-General of their country, Dr. Mauro Maiani, visited the 4 floors of the Pavilion with manifest interest, that culminated on the terrace in sight of the large garden, that had already been acclaimed by the media and the official website of the EXPO on the Internet.
